UPDATE 8/12/24: a year and a half later and this bed is falling apart! Squeaky everywhere and beyond repair. Invest in a higher quality bed.
Original post: Beautiful color, I would say a true ivory in contrast with my white sheets and pillows. Building the bed was an easy 1 person job, as long as you give yourself enough time and read the directions clearly (they’re fairly simple and easy to fix if you make a mistake). The only thing that concerned me were the brackets that snapped onto the wooden slats. They are a very lightweight plastic, and with a combined weight of ~350 on the bed nightly, I am curious to see how they will last. I was worried the bed may look/ feel cheap, but it looks very refined. Just have to watch out from bumping my shins on the footboard!

Just finished putting it together by myself. I was nervous about trying to do it myself but the instructions are very clear and not complicated. Everything is provided and all that’s used is an Allen key. No hired help necessary. Not difficult to put together just tedious with the tightening of screws. Looks great. Very soft velvet. Nothing ripped, damaged, dirty or missing. Will try to give an update after time of actual use with mattress. Also parts are inside of head board when I thought I was missing something but after reading instructions was able to locate it. Confused about end caps for under the bottom of the foot posts because it’s shown at the end of the instructions but not provided in boxes.

I ordered this bed in the ivory color and received a blue headboard (the bottom portion was correct). I submitted a trouble shooting request immediately once I discovered the issue. It has now been over 72 hours and I have not received any response from the manufacturer. I called Wayfair and they said they cannot do anything except "escalate" the request. That was about 8 hours ago and still no contact from the manufacturer or anyone at Wayfair. Be warned that if you have a problem with your product, you will not get a timely response from this manufacturer.

I went through hell to get this bedframe, and in the end I actually did. If it weren’t for a customer service rep by the name Samauya, I’d still be sleeping on the floor waiting like an idiot for something that was never going to come.

Whomever the manufacturers are please stop kidding yourselves if you think this bedframe should retail for $800; this is a $300 bedframe at best, and that’s after taxes & shipping.

To the person getting ready to buy this bedframe just know that there’s a possibility that your parts will come to you defective, don’t believe me, check the other 1 and 2 star reviews. Also, you cannot remove the slats after you’ve installed them. Every step of putting this bed together is simple, the instructions are good; you’ll need to elevate the headboard about a foot off the ground to attach the sideboards. Depending on the size of your mattress and if you do not use a box spring, you’ll be able to see the legs that are connected to the baseboard while standing up (see photos). The feet have a residue that’ll get all over the fabric so either clean them and wear gloves or clean the stains leftover on the bed afterwards.
