Weak, and a poor design. Looks good
BigMike· Review provided by biglots.com · December 25, 2023
This bed has 3 very weak legs that contact the flooring the center of the bed. One night my small wife climbed into bed and it felt like the bed dropped a few inches. I checked it the next evening and found these weak legs held with an even weaker bolt the bolt bent after the leg bent.
As an Engineer I was disgusted with the design.
It is designed cheap for maximum profit.
It will be destroyed by the end of 2024.
I will use what is left and build a good looking and strong bed
3.75 stars!

We bought the entire bedroom suite for a guest bedroom. PERFECT for that. It's not 5* quality, but it's also not 5* price. Since it's not very every day usage I think it's perfect. If it was used daily then may or may not be a long lasting set.

What everyone says is correct about the instructions! TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! Did I say TERRIBLE?! The headboard/footboard/rails is the only thing requiring assembly for the most part, though. The nightstands only required adding the peg legs on the bottom. The dresser required putting handles on all the drawers and the pet legs on the bottom. Both of these were easy to do.

We did not have issues with gaps in the headboard after putting together as others reported. There are small holes on the backside of the headboard as others posted pictures of, but if you have a thick bedspread those are hidden.

The dresser drawers roll out easily, but they are not as sturdy as a more expensive set would be.

I found the nightstand on Amazon for nearly half price and Big Lots price matched this piece. Pays to do your comparison shopping!

I would not hesitate to purchase this set again. Just pack your patience for assembling the headboard/footboard!
Cheep

Just recived this hole bedoom set about an hour ago. Shipping people where really nice. Once they got everything set up they asked me how it looked. Looked amazing just how I expected it to be. Once they left I started really examining it trying to move it away from the wall just to find a board that was supporting the meat board was dangling screws where short stripped and wood is fake compressed wood that just tour like paper. Nothing was sturdy. ..I was scared to even lay on it that it would fall apart. I only waigh 130 pounds... it shook wobbled and it was all made out of cheep compressed wood. That I could snap over my knee . The handles on my side table and dresser where dangling dresser drawers are thin almost like my clothes would just fall out the bottom. Looks nice but extremely cheep and already had to call to get replacement parts... and it's only been an hour since I recived it. Foot board looks nice when standing at bottom of bed... but when laying in bed looking down its just white compressed wood with black screws holding it togeather....
DO NOT BUY

The price was very economical, however the quality is seriously lacking. The bed was delivered damaged with a big hole in one of the boxes AND a dent on the top of the headboard. Assembly is a headache. The directions are clear as mud. There are no pre-drilled holes on the headboard for the screws to attach into. It is dang near impossible to get the pieces of the headboard to attach together. We will see how sturdy the bed is after we figure out how to put it together, but judging from the particleboard and wood veneer, will probably be purchasing a much better quality bed in a year if that. It is too much of a hassle to pack up 3 huge boxes and haul them back to the store. Do yourself a favor and skip this bed.
