I bought these after not being able to find them for quite some time since I relocated. My local Publix had them on sale, Bogo. I was so excited brought them home and they are not the same as I remembered. They burned easily while cooking and the savory taste, well I am not a fan of. If I had only known I would’ve kept my money especially considering the cost. I kept looking at the bag because I didn’t remember it saying seasoned in the past, but after tasting them I knew exactly what they meant by seasoned. I wish the option for the original recipe was still available.

Disappointing! These were extremely greasy and never crisped up. If you leave them in longer hoping they will crisp up, they won’t. The ends just burn and they are still dripping in grease. My family couldn’t eat these, we had to throw them out, I really wish I could get a refund. I thought maybe we got a bad bag until I read other reviews with the same complaints. I will never buy this brand again, first and last time.

They taste good, but they are really tricky to get cooked up crisp without burning them. I used to think it was my crappy oven. Then we got an awesome air fryer and I thought these would cook perfectly - nope, still the same issue: they are either soggy or they are burnt. And somehow they'll burn in the blink of an eye so if I turn my back for a minute, it seems I've ruined them. Finally I settled on a method that helps: set the temperature on the air fryer lower than the bag recommends (the bag says 425, I use 400), and cook them longer, keeping an eye on them the whole time, turning/tossing several times. Even so they are not as crisp as I would like them to be, but better. It's more effort than a typical premade heat-and-eat food for those lazy nights.

Some pieces are still floppy while others charred to a crisp. Seems to need to be cooked at a lower temperature than instructed and carefully watch. Half of the bag ended up in the trash. The ones that made it are good. Caution they have a bit of a kick if you can't handle spicy. I would recommend their other variations before these.
