The art of meditation in chess.

The art of learning addresses an important topic that is woefully lacking in most chess books. It gives directions for improving concentration ,calculation and emotional control during a chess game. Key psychological insights. Highly recommended.

I am unable to fathom exactly how this book could receive a review with any more than 1 star. Unfortunately this book has little to do with learning any focuses almost entirely on the pretensions of the author with regard to his career as a child chess prodigy and his involvement in a joke of a martial art known as "push hands". I am sorry but this is probably the worst book I have ever read.
The perfect book to start the year

2017 has been a of perpetual questioning. Do I lead a good life or a great one? Do I hit peak performance once in a while or do I make my victories a new baselines that become my day to day heroic quest. This book promises insights in the mind of a champion and understanding on how to ignite the champion within us, not the one that surprises us with its once in a blue moon emergence but the one that makes the impossible part of the daily regimen.
