This was a recommended book for prospective homeschool parents by the head and founder of Living Learning Homeschool, the homeschool provider specializing in the Charlotte Mason curriculum here in the Philippines. Looking forward to learn more about this educational philosophy through this book! The book was packed well but there was still a dent on the upper right corner.

I bought this book to gain insight into the My Fathers World philosophy before purchasing the curriculum. I am so glad I did. (MFW uses Charlotte Mason methodology mixed with classical education with Biblical worldview.) I thought I liked Charlotte Mason's approach before reading this book; now I believe in it whole heartedly. This excellent book explains and expounds on Mason's beliefs, inspires the homeschoolong Mom and encourages one to abandon the structures of a public school education. By the end of the book, I absolutely knew that the mix that MFW uses was where God is leading us and we joyfully purchased the curriculum kit. This is a fabulous reference book and should be read by anyone involved in the education of children.
