Prepare to have your heart ripped out, stomped on, and raked across the coals. It took me a few chapters to get into, but after that it was a friendship story I would encourage everyone to read.

This book was assigned summer reading for 9-12 graders. While it has a decent story line, I believe some of the language was unnecessary for the target audience.
