The materials and quality are what you would expect when getting a cheap frame. If you are purchasing to use for a queen or Leung mattress please plan on replacing the slats with something sturdier. The one provided will absolutely not support your mattress. I’ve included picture of the thing ones included with the frame and the 2x6’s we used to support our King Mattress. There is one picture with the thin piece of wood against the 2x6 to give a comparison. The finish on the wood was okay. I which the footboard came up higher.

DO NOT BUY - it is missing parts and it will forever be missing parts. I’m left with a bed that cannot be fully assembled and then a replacement with the same parts missing. Ashley doesn’t seem to understand how to solve for this and yet, they are still selling a bed that cannot be fully assembled. The missing parts aren’t in their “system†. Also, NOTHING is labeled on the parts, which I’ve mentioned but again, it’s not corrected seeing as though the same issues are present in both the original order AND the replacement order.

Unsure what to do? Slats fall off even with screws. So do I use velcro to create friction so the slats don’t shift. Or plywood as a support for the boxspring and mattress? Or get blocks of wood to support the bed? What have others tried? Love the bed. Not the slats? Any suggestions?

This is the worse bed ever. Please be aware of this product as it only has 3 beams at the bottom of the bed which cant not support the mattress. My 15 year son sat on the bed and it broke?? the legs are very thing and at the center of the beams that are supporting the mattress there are also legs that do not reach the floor! Do not buy this bed or you will be like me here trying to think what to do next..
