This Jimmy Choo scent has a sophisticated and expensive-smelling fragrance that's hard to ignore. Arguably the name Floral is appropriate - it smells a lot like the flower Lilly of the Valley - to my untrained nose - but a lot lighter weight, where lilly of the valley smells heavier and thick - relatively speaking. Coming in fairly straightforward and attractive packaging the bottle is shaped a bit like a glass grenade, but with a chrome-effect and white square bottle top and with a chrome effect band around the top of the bottle. The bottle is a bit narrow where it rests on your table-top which means it has a tendancy to topple over if you're clumsy like me. It's a mega-sturdy bottle though so it's not going to break in a hurry. The bottle has a pale sapphire-turquoise hue which looks nice. When you spray the scent it really hits you as a fresh awake smell, but as it settles down over subsequent hours, while retaining its freshness it turns into a slightly more traditional scent. So unless you're going to spray it on immediately before meeting someone your target audience is likely to have less of a shockingly awake experience with this scent. In summary, this is a new and modern smelling scent - to my nose at least - and it does have a sophisticated ambience that justifies its fairly high price.

This isn't the type of fragrance my wife usually uses, but she was very pleased with it. I liked it too. I always wear perfume, even when I am staying indoors all day. I have a small range that I like to use, depending on the time of the year and my mood, and this is a welcome addition to my collection. It is light and floral. The bottle reminds me of old-fashioned perfume bottle designs, and I am proud to have it on my dressing table. The cap is a cube, very unusual, and looks like a white die with silver edges, beautiful to look at. The box is beautiful. It is slightly textured, and it reminds me of snakeskin with the design of the scalloping on it. The EDT itself is lovely. It is very light and floral, with the first note of roses, and then it goes on to be slightly fruity, then onto a very slightly heavier musky note, nothing overpowering in the slightest. This is certainly a fragrance that is for a particular time of the year, and for me it is spring and summer. With the lightness of it, it is perfect for those long, hot, sunny summer days. I think the appeal is not limited to a particular generation - it is light and fragrant, but it will suit all ages. Its effect does not last long at all, a few hours at most, so I have the pleasure of re-applying it a couple of times a day. This 60ml bottle should last me all summer, and then I will look for some more, or perhaps try a slightly more concentrated version of it. Floral by Jimmy Choo is lovely, light, fresh floral and fruity (but not sweet) scent it smells like spring air filled flower blossoms. There is also a note of freshly cut apples. I did not think I would ever be able to wear floral perfume but this is completely different. The fragrance is not overpowering and it does smell of flower blossoms, not mature flowers, which for me personally is a good thing. Although the scent is very subtle it does last for most of the day. The pastel aqua blue bottle matches the fragrance perfectly. I appreciate its simplicity - modern, delicate and unique look without being too much. I hate when I find a scent I like but the bottle has so much bling I would be embarrassed to use it, luckily this is not the case here. I think both the bottle and the fragrance would suit any age and would make a great and universal gift.

I really like the smell of this on my partner though she says she wouldn't choose it herself. It is very floral but not overly sweet, a little fruity perhaps. The bottle is beautifully designed, elegant and tactile, with a lid that lid snaps on and off cleanly. Although it's expensive, the bottle is large. Overall it deserves 5 stars in my view. However, if you are looking for a perfume with staying power, it's not a good choice. She put it on in the morning and I couldn't smell a trace of it by evening. I suspect this is normal for eau de toilette and I like the way the listing explains the difference between eau de toilette and perfume in a little factual section at the bottom of the listing, so I won't deduct a star for this.
